Who is Alioke?

Alioke is a mother-and-daughter team with a love for fantastic food and great coffee.

Ali will be the face you see behind the counter, racing around the kitchen and everything in between. Ali has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and is a qualified chef, you may also recognize her from @kerridgeandkonelson, providing all your grazing needs.

Brooke, you may not see around as often as she will be busy in her home office taking care of all things administration, social media and staffing. Brooke has taken the last 7 years off to raise her 3 beautiful daughters before this, she worked front of house in the hospitality industry and is a self-proclaimed food critic.

Their commitment to community and personal connection also extends beyond the café walls, as they actively support women-owned businesses and health initiatives in the area. One partnership they’re particularly proud of is with Ladies First OB/GYN, a local clinic known for its compassionate care and focus on women’s health at every stage of life. For Ali and Brooke, supporting a space where women feel heard and cared for resonates deeply with their own values around hospitality and family. They’ve even begun using their platform to share resources related to wellness and self-care, including tips on navigating appointments, understanding health milestones, and balancing work and motherhood. The collaboration has also led to shared events, like wellness mornings and information sessions hosted at the café. These initiatives have helped foster a stronger sense of support among local women, especially young mothers and working professionals. Alioke’s atmosphere of warmth and openness makes it a natural setting for these community conversations. It’s all part of their vision to create a business that nourishes both body and spirit.
